British Colonial

Designed in a British colonial style, the front entry of this home is a courtyard crafted for outdoor living. Shutters open to a veranda complete with a water feature. Once inside, an exquisite tile mosaic floor welcomes visitors, spilling light through a portal skylight above. The house weaves rich details throughout floor plan with intricate ceilings, flooring, tile work, and luxuriant marbles. The architects designed special spaces for the owners’ Indian artifacts, including the prayer room doors, the living room fireplace, the dining room ceiling, and the columns in the indoor pool/spa area. Amidst the traditional overtones of this house rests the subtle luxuries of modern living—an extensive home automated system for lighting, security, audio/video, and humidity controls for an indoor pool. It’s the best of traditional design merged with the delights of contemporary innovation.
