Cardboard playhouses 2013

We are super excited to announce that the first of the 2013 Cardboard Playhouses headed out today for the Chestnut Academy’s annual gala. This year our playhouse was designed by one of our principal architect’s Scott Hommas. This year has more of a contemporary look and feel, and was designed with more of a dynamic element in mind.

This year can either be 4 separate structures, or two. (The home in the background is our project The Gambrel House)

At just over 27 square feet and standing at almost 6 feet high at it’s peak, this playhouse is pretty roomy!
It even comes with a little teepee for dolls, dogs, or little sisters – depending on who you ask. 🙂

New tab technology and a reinforced roof make this the most sturdy GHA cardboard playhouse yet. (The home featured here is our project Capecod Shingle Style)

Of all the community programs that we do, this one is definitely a favorite.
Our 2013 cardboard playhouses are on the boards for 10 auctions this year. Maybe you will be lucky enough to bring one home.
