Paris’ City Planners

We are humbled and grateful for the dozens upon dozens of hours put in by each member of our gingerbread team. We want to thank the following organizations and individuals who helped us bring a world of pure imagination to reality:

Master Builders Association of King & Snohomish Counties

The Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties (MBAKS) has been involved with JDRF’s Gingerbread Village almost since the beginning of the tradition 28 years ago! On this year’s display, they helped substantially with both the financial underwriting of materials and candy as well as untold hours of volunteer effort in building the display.

Special thanks to the following key team members: Allison Butcher, Mike Pattison, Amber Snellgrove, and Jennifer Tennyson.

Additionally, we’re remembering Donine Grigsby. Donine passed away shortly after her contributions to last year’s project. We have honored her contributions over the many, many years she contributed to Gingerbread Village with ‘Café Donine’ in this year’s Paris Gingerbread Project.

Gelotte Hommas Drivdahl Architecture

Gelotte Hommas Drivdahl Architecture has partnered with MBAKS since 2011 to lead the design and construction of the displays. Many of our team members donate hours of their time to help build and design the displays. We’re grateful for how these people funnel their love for the art of architecture into a creative display of cookie and candy for the benefit of JDRF.

Special thanks to the following key team members: Eric Drivdahl, Scott Hommas, Iulia Codoban, Deepa Sharma, and Vicki Somppi.

A great project starts with a strong foundation. We’re immensely grateful to Corner 2 Corner Builders for building the structural base for the display.

Special thanks to the following key team members: Joe White.

Sugarnova

Paris wouldn’t be complete without it’s iconic masterpieces. Sugarnova masterfully recreated a show-stopping Mona Lisa that adds dimension and artistry in its own right.

Special thanks to the following key team members: Jamie Louks.
