One of the things we love is seeing a local company take things global, and that’s just what Pilgrim Africa has done. In fact, we are so inspired by what they are doing we have decided to partner with them.
Pilgrim Africa was founded in 2001 in response to the plight of more than 1.5 million internally displaced people in war-torn Northern Uganda. With no more than a handful of volunteers they provided health services, education, trauma-counseling and agricultural training to refugees. 
Now, over a decade later, Pilgrim Africa has gained a national reputation for catalyzing local solutions into widespread, social change.
From its inception this grass roots non-profit has grown into a force for development throughout Uganda with major projects today in education and public health.
